Learning the Arabic language needs to select a suitable courses or program. The suitable selection will be one of the most important factors which help your success. So, you should consider the following factors:
1. Goal of learning; What is the goal you want to achieve from the learning? Do you just want to be able to read and understand Quran or the classical text, or do you want to speak to the local Arabs during your holiday? Or you may be more interested in writing some simple sentences in Arabic. Please be very clear on your learning goal.
2. Learning strategy and style; We are usually capable to utilize various learning styles but the effectiveness will differ. By using your preferred learning strategy and style, you will be more comfortable and will be able to learn the Arabic language better and faster.
3. The financial issue; Some will be more costly than the others. Certain type of packages can be shared with immediate families and this indirectly will reduce the cost per student.
4. The available time is another consideration; How much time do you have to learn? Is the time flexible? If you have a fix routine, probably you want to attend a class. However, If you are on the wheel most of the time, then you can choose learning by using CDs. Listen and follow the modules on the CDs.
The Arabic language is one of the largest languages widely spoken in the Middle East and North Africa. It has a rich history and cultural heritage. So, Learning the Arabic language can be a worthwhile investment.
